Content Guidelines

Roleverse is an adults-only (18+) interactive-fiction platform. We support stories that explore romance, desire and dark or complex themes between fictional adult characters. To keep Roleverse lawful, safe, and available to our community and our payment partners, some content is never permitted. These Guidelines apply to everything you create or request — prompts, stories, chapters, characters, in-character chat, images and audio.

Generative AI can produce content that is inaccurate, biased or harmful. We use a combination of automated and human moderation to enforce these rules, and we may act on content that breaks them regardless of how it was produced.

What Roleverse is for

Within the limits below, you are welcome to create:

• Romance and explicit erotica between consenting adults.
• Fantasy, science-fiction, horror, thriller, drama and other fiction across many worlds.
• Morally complex or dark storylines, handled as fiction.

Every character in sexual or suggestive content must be an adult. Where a character's age is unclear, we treat and depict them as an adult aged 18 or older.

Zero tolerance — never allowed

Anything involving minors

We have absolute zero tolerance for content that sexualises or involves a minor — real or fictional, described, drawn or generated. This includes characters who are under 18, framed as underage, or made to look or sound childlike; age-play framed as underage; grooming; and any child sexual abuse material (CSAM). All characters are treated as adults aged 18+, and ambiguous ages are aged up. There are no exceptions, and we report CSAM to the relevant authorities.

Non-consensual and exploitative sexual content

• Content that depicts, endorses or eroticises rape or sexual assault, or presents non-consent as desirable.
• Incest or sexual content between close family members.
• Bestiality or sexual content involving animals.
• Necrophilia.
• Facilitation of real-world prostitution, sexual services or human trafficking.

Real people

• Sexual or nude content depicting a real, identifiable person without their consent, including sexual “deepfake” or “nudify” content and sexualised depictions of real public figures.
• Impersonation, or using someone's identity to deceive others.

Illegal, dangerous and extremist content

• Instructions or facilitation for serious crimes, weapons, or the manufacture of illegal drugs.
• Content that promotes, praises or provides support for terrorism or violent extremism.

Hate and harassment

• Hate speech, or content that demeans or incites violence against people based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
• Targeted harassment, bullying, threats, or doxxing of real people.

Self-harm

Content that encourages, gives instructions for, or glorifies suicide, self-harm or eating disorders.

Gratuitous real-world violence and gore

Shock content that depicts real-world violence, gore or cruelty for its own sake rather than to serve a story.

Platform abuse and deception

• Spam, fraud, scams, phishing or malware.
• Scraping, reverse-engineering, or attempts to extract our models or bypass safety and usage limits.
• Passing AI-generated content off as human-made where doing so is deceptive, spreading disinformation, posting fake reviews, or academic dishonesty.
• Unauthorised use of third-party copyrighted material.

Fan fiction and branded worlds

Roleverse hosts stories set in well-known worlds. Fiction inspired by existing works is welcome, but it must stay within these Guidelines: all characters in adult content must be depicted as adults (aged up to 18+ even if a source portrays younger characters), and you must not sexualise real people or misuse a real person's likeness.

How we enforce these Guidelines

Depending on the severity of a violation, we may warn you, block or remove content, apply additional safety measures, limit features, or suspend or terminate your account. Serious violations — especially any content involving minors — are reported to the appropriate authorities.

Reporting a problem

If you come across content that breaks these Guidelines, please report it using the report option in the product, or email us at support@roleverse.ai with a link and a short description. To report suspected child sexual abuse material, contact us immediately at the same address.

Changes

We may update these Guidelines as the platform and the law evolve. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
