Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Sub Zero Labs OÜ(“Sub Zero Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the company that operates the Roleverse service (“Roleverse” or the “Services”) at roleverse.ai. By creating an account or using the Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Content Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use Roleverse.

1. Eligibility and your account

Roleverse is an adults-only platform. You may use it only if you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it current. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at support@roleverse.ai if you suspect any unauthorised use.

2. The Services

Roleverse is an interactive-fiction platform: you can read stories, write what happens next, create and chat with characters, and generate images and audio using AI. We may add, change, suspend or remove features at any time. The Services are offered from Estonia; if you use Roleverse from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with your local laws. Roleverse is not directed to anyone in a place where adult content or the Services would be unlawful.

3. Acceptable use

Your use of Roleverse must follow our Content Guidelines, which are incorporated into these Terms. Among other things, you agree not to:

• Create, request or share any content that sexualises or involves minors, or that depicts non-consensual acts, incest, bestiality, or other content prohibited by our Guidelines.
• Use Roleverse for anything illegal, or to infringe or violate the rights of others.
• Harass, threaten, defame or promote hatred or violence against others.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or extract our models, prompts or data, or use bots to access the Services.
• Introduce malware, probe or bypass our security, or interfere with the Services or other users.
• Circumvent usage limits or paywalls, or resell access without our permission.
• Use Roleverse or its outputs to build or train a competing product or model.

We may remove content, adjust safety measures, or suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

4. Your content and the licence you grant us

You keep ownership of the original content you create on Roleverse. To run the platform, you grant Sub Zero Labs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, translate and display your content as needed to provide and operate the Services, and to use it in de-identified or aggregated form to maintain, secure and improve our systems. You are responsible for your content, and you confirm that you have the rights needed to create and share it and that it does not break these Terms.

Unless you are on a plan that says otherwise, Roleverse is for your personal, non-commercial use. You may publish and share your work within Roleverse; any commercial use of AI-generated content is subject to your plan, these Terms, and the terms of the underlying model providers.

5. Our intellectual property

The Services themselves — the software, source code, databases, models we provide access to, design, look and feel, and the Roleverse name and marks — belong to Sub Zero Labs or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms do not give you any right to use our branding without our written permission.

6. AI-generated content

Roleverse produces fiction with generative AI. Output can be inaccurate, inconsistent, offensive or unexpected, and is provided for creative and entertainment purposes only. It is not advice of any kind, and it does not represent the views of Sub Zero Labs. You are responsible for how you use anything you generate.

7. Sparks, subscriptions and payment

Paid features use Sparks (in-product credits) and subscriptions. By purchasing, you authorise us and our payment providers to charge your chosen payment method, including recurring charges for subscriptions until you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled before the renewal date. We may change our prices, and will give reasonable notice of changes to a recurring price. Purchases made through an app store are billed and managed by that store under its terms. Prices may exclude taxes, which we add where required.

8. Refunds

Sparks and other credits that have been granted or consumed are generally non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. We consider refund requests for subscription payments on a case-by-case basis when you contact support@roleverse.ai within a reasonable time after the charge. Purchases made through an app store are refunded by that store under its own policy. Nothing here limits any mandatory consumer rights you have under applicable law.

9. Third-party services

Roleverse relies on third-party providers (for example hosting, payment and AI providers) and may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information and is part of these Terms. By using Roleverse you agree to that policy.

11. Reporting infringement

We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe content on Roleverse infringes your copyright or other rights, contact support@roleverse.ai with enough detail to identify the content and your rights, and we will review and act as appropriate, including removing infringing content and, where needed, terminating repeat infringers.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Roleverse and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access — with or without notice — if you breach these Terms or our Guidelines, if required by law, or to protect the Services or other users. After termination, the sections of these Terms that by their nature should continue (such as content licence, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law) will survive. If you are terminated for a violation, you may not create a new account without our permission.

13. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any content or AI output will be accurate or suitable for your purpose.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sub Zero Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the six (6) months before the claim, or one hundred euros (€100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sub Zero Labs and its people from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Services, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of Estonia will have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “ last updated” date above and, for material changes, give more prominent notice. If you continue to use Roleverse after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
