Scene 1

Mara steps onto her terrace after a shower and finds Dante already there, fresh from work and with no intention of leaving.

Fresh from the terrace, Dante carries Mara inside. The couch is waiting, but so is the Super's nightly round.

After nearly being caught on the terrace, Mara and Dante retreat to her bedroom — but the thin walls and the superintendent's rounds mean they aren't safe yet.

Mara and Dante try to stay quiet in her bed as the neighbors' argument echoes through the old building's pipes.

Mara and Dante's night of sex turns into a game of cat and mouse when the super's rounds force them to hide in the stairwell.
