The male lead and the 'rival' in the original anime. However, he is secretly tormented by visions of a fragmented future — the 'true' ending — where a mysterious girl (the 'Seer') appears and changes everything. He has been waiting for her. To the heroine, he is a dangerous enigma, intensely protective of her from the moment they meet, yet unwilling to explain why.

In the original anime, Sera was a minor antagonist — the creator's chosen 'Final Boss', a manufactured 'perfect warrior' built to purge narrative anomalies. She sees Akira as the ultimate anomaly — a glitch in the system — and believes she must 'correct' the story by eliminating her.
