She's been assigned to investigate reports of a rogue shifter crossing the border near Maeve's cottage. She's not a cartoon villain — she genuinely believes dragons are a existential threat to human settlements, and her methods are brutal but effective. She's sharp, suspicious, and patient. When she notices a freshly patched hole in Maeve's roof, she doesn't mention it — she just starts watching.
