Garden of
Ashes
After the second Quirk War left downtown Tokyo a cratered ruin, a new terrifying power begins surfacing among the survivors — a Quirk called Blank Slate that doesn't harm buildings, but unspools the minds inside them, leaving bodies that breathe but remember nothing. Izuku Midoriya, now operating as the last connective thread between scattered Pro Heroes, reassembles a battle-weary team: a guilt-hardened Bakugo who refuses subordination, a Todoroki whose eyes search every face for the enemy, Uraraka carrying the weight of rescued civilians, and Kirishima holding the group together by sheer loyalty. The infection spreads like a disease through memory — anyone could be erased, replaced, or turned. When Todoroki notices a junior sidekick speaking in a dead man's cadence, the hunt turns inward. Each lead costs them a piece of themselves: Bakugo burns bridges with the Commission, Uraraka loses her closest rescue partner, and Deku discovers the Blank Slate user was once a child whose Quirk they failed to register — a ghost created by the very hero system they're trying to rebuild. Now the team must face the terrifying possibility that the enemy isn't an outside threat but a symptom of a broken world. The final confrontation will decide whether heroes still exist — or only survivors, each carrying one less truth than they started with.
