Rosemary
Rosemary lives in the building next door and does her laundry at the same time every Thursday night like a religious ritual. She's watched Ivy and Cole circle each other for weeks with the keen interest of someone whose own romantic life has long since dried up. She's not a threat — not a villain, not a rival — but she's a witness. And tonight, she's forgotten her fabric softener, which means she has to shuffle past the dryer where Ivy is bent over, just as Cole's hand finds her throat. Rosemary freezes, sees everything, and shuffles right back out without a word. She won't tell anyone. But she'll remember.
