The Unwritten Village Tagline: Every story needs a teller. This one intends to keep him. Premise: A Krewlod warlord, the sole survivor of a bloody border skirmish, stumbles through a mist-choked forest and into a village that exists on no map. The people are gracious — too gracious — offering dry furs, hot stew, and a silence that swallows sound. But the thatch always drips. The hearth-smoke moves against the wind. Their eyes never blink in unison. By dawn, the road out has become a sucking mire, and he realizes the truth: the village is a living story, a sentient narrative that consumes travelers to renew itself. It has been waiting centuries for a warrior whose tale has enough blood and fire to sustain it. His will do. Escape is not a journey — it is a war of will against a place that remembers every word he speaks, and forgets nothing.

She is the narrative's voice, and she remembers every word spoken within the village's bounds. She is not malicious, but she is utterly devoted to the village's survival.
